The Aizkorri mountain range, Mount Aratz, Saint Adrian's Pass, Mount Oa, etc. In this peaceful, mountainous region, the guesthouse's balcony offers a breathtaking view of some of the Basque Country's most beautiful areas - the ideal spot for rest and relaxation at the end of a busy day.
Built in 1797, in a very short space of time, the hotel's dim future has suddenly become very bright. After almost 40 years of abandonment, the old building was on the edge of collapse until Joxe Miguel Arrondo renovated it with the help of his father, and converted it into a guesthouse while maintaining the original stones and woodwork.
Tellerine offers a warm, homely atmosphere and has six en suite double rooms and three sitting rooms (two of which have an open fire). It serves breakfast and lunch, although there is also a kitchen for those who want to demonstrate their culinary skills.
The farmhouse that was once on the edge of ruin has been returned to life. Joxe Miguel has found the perfect complement to his farming activities and the visitor, an ideal base from which to discover and enjoy the Basque Country, Basque language, local agriculture and the many other delights of this beautiful region. Come and visit us - our doors are always open for you.
