THE GOIERRI REGION > Eztanda
Our route begins in Ormaiztegi with a
visit to the historical Zumalakarregi Museum, the railway bridge and
the Romanesque entranceway and baptismal font of Saint Andrew's Church.
It then continues towards Gabiria, stopping on the way to see the old
pillory in Ormaiztegi's Alegi neighbourhood.
Upon reaching Gabiria,
take time to visit the church and learn the traditional art of cheese-making,
before continuing on towards Lierni (Mutiloa), to see its famous hermitage.
After a visit to the small town of Mutiloa, the route returns to Ormaiztegi
via Segura.
